As conveners of the next SCAR Open Science Conference (http://www.scar.org/news/scarbusiness/) that will be held in Buenos Aires (Argentina) from 3-6 August 2010, we encourage you to submit your work to be considered in the session: " Southern Ocean circulation and the global climate system (Theme II - Session 20)". We hope this session will be a great opportunity to discuss your results and recent advanced in the knowledge of a broad range of aspects of the Southern Ocean circulation and its interactions with Earth's climate. Therefore, we invite contributions on both modelling and observational studies. We strongly encourage submissions from all ECS and post-graduate and graduate students.

The deadline for submissions is 1st APRIL 2010, and information on how to submit is available at the conference webpage (http://www.dna.gov.ar/scar2010.htm). We hope on an interesting session
with plenty of contributions.
