The UCT Oceanography/Zoology Applied Marine Science students will be giving their "Background to Climate Change" research seminars in the next fortnight. These seminars are 15 mins each and will be presented at 1pm in the oceanography tea room on the 29th April and 4th May. The students brief is to research some aspect of the course that interests them in more detail, including current research, then present it to a scientific audience and field questions. To make sure they have a scientific audience to present we need scientists; so would like to invite you to attend. The topics and presenters are as follows:

Session 2 Tuesday 4th May:
The Role of Light in Limiting Primary Productivity in the Southern Ocean - Warren Witte and Emily McGregor
Sustainable Energy without the Hot Air - Elijah Ramulifho and Henry Abi
The Most Amazing Extremophiles - Lauren Biermann and Brilliant Mashifone
