The European Conference on Ecological Modelling in Trieste, Italy, in November 2007 was a great success. Quebec City was selected as the North American site for the next conference in ecological modelling. The conference will be on the campus of the Université Laval.

Plus you’ll have a plenary speaking slot to present your paper.
Any author, age 39 or younger, who published a paper in Ecological Modelling in 2008 or has a paper accepted before deadline is eligible. Forward a PDF of the paper with indication for consideration of the prize to Sven Jørgensen (msijapan@hotmail.com) or Brian Fath (bfath@towson.edu). Self-nominations are accepted.
Papers will be evaluated by a small group of ISEM officers for overall impact, originality, and quality of work. Contact Sven or Brian for further questions as needed.
Deadline: Papers must be received by March 1st, 2009 to be eligible for the prize.
