Draft Agenda for the Nansen Tutu Centre annual meeting:
 
Preamble: The annual Nansen Tutu Meeting will be in the Department of Oceanography Seminar Room, starting at 13h45 on the 7th, with invited keynote talks, followed by reports from key Nansen Tutu funded and seconded staff. The morning session on 8th starts at 09h00 with a keynote talk by Professor Mark New, Pro Vice Chancellor, UCT. This is followed by further reports. The afternoon session is devoted to a science discussion of future plans for the Nansen Tutu Centre.
At 18h00, on 7th, there will be an icebreaker for all participants. The Board Meeting takes place at 08h30-12h00, 9th December 2011, in the Captains Cabin, Dept Oceanography.
Keynote speakers:
Mr Andre Share (Department of Environment Affairs-Ocean and Coasts), is on 7th Dec; Prof. Mark New, UCT Pro Vice Chancellor African Climate and Development Initiative (ACDI) will present details of this new UCT initiative on 8th Dec, including details of the new Climate Science Masters course.
