The South African Biodiversity Information Facility (SABIF) is hosting a hands-on Ecological Niche Modelling Workshop. This course is being conducted in close association with the University of Witwatersrand and the Climate Change and BioAdaptation Division at SANBI. The venue for the course will be the University of Western Cape, Cape Town from 1400 on the 24th March to the 27th March. The course will be presented by Dr. Barend Erasmus. Other members that will contribute to the course include Dr. Danni Guo.

For logistical reasons, the workshop will include approx. 20 participants. Participants are expected to have background/experience in both biology/biodiversity, and the use of GIS tools (specifically ArcView or ArcGIS). This workshop is targeted at scientists, conservation planners and academics. Interested members are requested to please complete and return the application form.
