SCIENCE OVERVIEW
Southern Africa is in a very unique location, within easy reach of three scientifically important oceans; the South Atlantic, the Indian and the Southern Ocean. As such, it presents an exciting platform for SOLAS research (see examples in Figure). Southern African SOLAS-IMBER (SASI) looks to showcase Southern African science in the region where atmosphere, ocean and biochemistry meet.
We invite speakers to submit abstracts
by Monday 5th of January
RSVP and abstract submissions to Dr Carl Palmer (
carl.j.palmer@googlemail.com
)
PLEASE NOTE: Limited bursaries are available for research travelling from SADC countries outside South Africa.
